How to enter

We’ve simplified the application process with fewer questions, making it quicker and easier to enter. A comprehensive entry pack is available to guide you through your submission. The pack includes:

  • Category definitions and selection guidance
  • Entry rules
  • Application questions
  • Tips and hints
  • Feedback from previous judging rounds.

Step-by-step guide:

1

Read through the entry pack and category descriptions carefully.

2

Select the category (or categories) that best reflects your impact, with appropriate supporting evidence.

3

Complete the entry form (This is available in the entry pack).

4

Submit your entry via the online platform ‘Submit’.

5

Confirm your submission to ensure it is accepted into the judging process.

Important note

  • You may enter more than one category, but each entry must be unique and not a copy of another.
  • No identical content can be used to enter multiple categories.
  • A maximum of three finalist placements per organisation is permitted; CIPD Ireland may contact entrants to discuss where appropriate.
  • Previous winners must not submit the same entry as a basis for a new award.
  • Entries should reflect CIPD principles: work matters, people matter, professionalism matters.
  • All entries must be submitted through the official awards website ‘Submit’. If the confirmation step is not completed, the entry will be marked as ‘incomplete’ and excluded from judging.
